While the space savings and look of the refrigerator are fine, we have needed 2 repairs in 2 years when the top refrigerator portion stopped cooling. The repair bills are mounting for what is a relatively new appliance. I wouldn't go with a whirlpool again.

We upgraded a 20-year old refrigerator with top freezer to this refrigerator/freezer and we are delighted. (We kept the old refrigerator/freezer in our garage for overflow and extra drinks/cans.) I love the water and ice inside the refrigerator as well as the space available inside both the refrigerator and freezer.

The only really annoying feature about this model is that there is about 2 inches between the rear of the shelves and the back of the compartment- which allows smaller bottles/containers to fall thru. For example, small bottles of sauces, condiments, refrigerated oils like Sesame, etc. Placing larger containers in the rear alleviates this, but our fridge is organized by frequency of use of items front to back, not size. The door storage of course would be an answer, but this is for items used daily .The simple inclusion of a grill or something similar that won't block air flow would be a big help.

Overall, we like the refrigerator but none of the drawers are on rollers. This makes it extremely difficult to open drawers without shimmying them side to side and making lots of noise. Overall, the freezer space is just ok, it would be nice to have both racks pull out when opening the door. I also don't like that we have to open both doors in order to open drawers on the right or left side. It would be nice to open the left door only and access the left drawer. I would also recommend improving access under the front panel to be able to vacuum under the fridge.

Had to replace our old fridge which died after about 15 years. This doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other fridges but it does the job of keeping food cold or frozen. As long as it lasts as long as the old one we will be happy. Got this a little cheaper (floor model). . Internally its essentially identical to our old fridge

This refrigerator came in our new fifth wheel and I couldn't be happier. Lots of room. The double doors make accessing everything really convenient. I also love the bottom freezer. So much room!! loaded with features. cold water dispenser, ice cube maker, deli tray, fruit and vegetable tray. All kinds of humidity controls. My fruits and veggies last so much longer!!

We wanted the bigger model with the ice/water on the outside.. but our doors into the house were not big enough.. had to settle for this model.. water is inside door and you have to use both hands to fill a glass (bleh) also the freezer holds virtually NOTHING!

This is the first time we have owned a 36" wide side by side with the freezer in the bottom and we are extremely pleased with the unit.The fridge keeps produce and meats twice as long in comparison to the previous fridge we have.

This refrigerator came with our DRV Mobile Suites fifth wheel. It has so many options for organizing. The unit is very quiet. We are very pleased with it overall but the door covering the Pantry isn't as secure as it should be and will pop off.

My wife and I bought the 20cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator six months ago and have had no problems whatsoever. We like the freezer compartment and the way the two-drawer system provides ready access to anything in the freezer and the shelving and easy access provided to the two door fridge section.

We like the large space in the refrigerator area itself, and the deli drawer is a nice addition to store cheese, lunch meat, even 20 oz bottles on their side. This keeps smaller items out of the way in the main area.The LED lighting is great and control panel is easy to use and the door alarm can be turned on or off.Our negatives would be the size of the produce bins/ crisper and we aren't thrilled with the wire freezer baskets, they are too small and hard to organize or store various frozen food items easily. We had solid drawers before and prefer those.And the negative in the main area would be the odd space left at the back of the shelves, we lose some space there and flat, smaller things can fall and get stuck there at times. We have to be careful not to push items too far back because of this.For the size of this refrigerator, we expected more freezer storage. The Wire freezer baskets get a low grade in this model.But, we like the main storage design overall.

Counter depth was what I wanted, without sacrificing interior space and it is exactly that. The full width cold cuts drawer, divided, to hold eggs and butter, frees up open shelf.ie. It is easy to organize.I've had many refrigerators and by far this is the best one yet! It runs quiet and the ice maker sweep is not annoying, like some.I LOVE IT!

I've had it just over 2 weeks. First service call was this morning. Panel and gasket of freezer to be replaced as they are letting air escape and ice forms on inside top of drawer. I'll withhold recommendations until I see how the replacement parts work. Shouldn't have his kind of hassled with a brand new and expensive appliance.

From the moment we brought our whirlpool fridge I was in love ! Mostly with the design at first but now I love how easy and functional every feature on my fridge is. I especially like the indoor water/ice dispenser. I've always thought the outdoor dispensers looked tacky but I always wanted the convenience of having the water/ice feature. I'd like to start by saying that there are features that I like about this Frig. but they are cosmetic. I ordered this frig and patiently waited 3 mo while it was backordered. Imagine how excited I was when it finally was installed in our new home. Last appliance to arrive to complete my kitchen. Well less than 3 mo. later the freezer compartment bottom drawer was freezing up so badly I would have to defrost it. Tech 1 came out and replaced something in the back of the frig that he said was causing condensation. Told us to empty the frig and freezer and let it totally defrost and plug it back in 12 hrs. later. Fortunately my husband had a back up frig in this garage. That worked for several weeks and problem started again. Tech 2 came out and took off the gasket around the freezer door and put "it" the same gasket on the door. Didn't work. Tech 3 came out and said the gasket needed to be removed and turned around because it had a bow in it. Didn't fix it. Tech 4 came out and said the door was not aligned and ordered a new door. Tech 4 was very helpful and came back weeks later and replaced door. So everything was working fine for a little over a year and now the same problem is starting all over again. Too add to the frustration the ice maker doesn't produce any ice either. We live in a small community and seem to be last on the list for service calls and it takes weeks to get someone out to fix it. We even purchased the extra 4 yr protection plan. We also purchased a new washer and dryer which were Whirlpool for this new home. Have used your products for years but are giving it a second thought right now. I can call customer service but my experience of long wait times is annoying.

Besides being beautiful, it's very low maintainence. The French doors are convenient and there's a sliding drawer the width of the fridge for drinks, cold cuts or whatever you choose. I love it!!

There are some great features to this refrigerator. I love the filtered water access and the massive space in the refrigerator part. The freezer space is a bit challenging. My main issue is that the height measurement was off and I have a refrigerator sticking out 7 inches instead of 3.

We had one problem, freezer started to frost up two days after we bought it. Warranty repair man came and lubricated and massaged the gasket. Put weight against freezer door overnight and the issue is now resolved. We are very happy with the fridge now.

Great things - counter depth, no more items hiding in the back - I can see everything. The water dispenser being inside, with the ice down below means I've much more space in the doors. The produce bins are generous sized, at a great height to encourage actually checking what's in them! The large lower tray is so useful for so many things. I love this fridge! AND it came in white, YAY! If I could wish to improve it in anyway it would be to have the ice maker an option which would allow more freezer space. I love it.
